Welcome to Te Nikau Retreat Self-Contained & Backpacker Accommodation, nestled in the native West Coast bush, adjoining the Paparoa National Park, in Punakaiki, New Zealand.

We are located 3km north of the spectacular Pancake Rocks.

Our character lodges and cabins have excellent facilities with all the comforts of home. Each place enjoy's it's own privacy being surrounded by sub tropical palms and forest. Wake to the dawn chorus of native birds, and at night drift off to the relaxing sound of the New Zealand bush. Home made bread and muffins baked daily for sale.

We cater to small groups, families and independent travellers looking for a unique experience.
